Bathroom Remodeling in Miramar, FL: Western Miramar to Historic East

Full bathroom remodeling across Miami and South Florida: clean lines, durable finishes, finished on schedule.

Miramar is a city of two halves and four bathroom eras. East Miramar, built mostly between 1955 and 1975, has small, hardworking bathrooms with cast-iron tubs and 4x4 tile that has earned a long retirement. Western Miramar, developed from the mid-1990s through the mid-2010s, has larger master baths with builder-grade granite, mid-grade ceramic, and that signature beige palette that someone decided in 2003 was timeless.

We do full bathroom remodels across both Miramars: Country Club Ranches, Riviera Isles, Silver Lakes, Vizcaya, Sunset Lakes, Monarch Lakes, and the older neighborhoods east of Palm Avenue. Different houses, different scopes, same standard of work.

Whichever side of Miramar you live on, the goal is the same: a real bathroom, finished on time.

Two distinct bathroom remodel jobs

East Miramar (east of Flamingo Road, generally) is the older half. Bathrooms are smaller, plumbing is older, and the upside of a remodel is a complete reset of a tight space. Western Miramar from Flamingo Road to the Everglades is the newer half. Bathrooms are larger, plumbing is newer, and the upside of a remodel is a real upgrade of dated finishes.

Broward County and City of Miramar permits

Bathroom remodels with plumbing or electrical changes pull through the City of Miramar building department under Broward County. We are the contractor of record. We pull, we schedule inspections, we close the permit at the end. The closed-permit record stays with the property.

Western Miramar HOA culture

Most Western Miramar communities have HOAs. Almost none regulate interior bath finishes; most regulate work hours, dumpster placement, and contractor insurance. We handle the paperwork with the management company before the start date, so we are not waiting on a board email mid-week.

Western Miramar master baths: the typical upgrade

A 2003 Vizcaya or Monarch Lakes master bath usually has a garden tub, a separate shower with a single head, a double vanity with builder-grade granite, and ceramic tile floor. The cleanest upgrade: pull the tub, expand the shower into the tub bay, install a frameless glass enclosure with a bench, replace the vanity tops with quartz and the cabinetry with shaker-style, and re-tile floor and shower in large-format porcelain. The room becomes a real master bath.

East Miramar guest baths: a reset of a small space

A 1968 East Miramar 5x8 with a cast-iron tub responds to the same playbook as small Hialeah bathrooms: replace the tub with a walk-in shower, switch to a wall-hung or 12-inch rough toilet, install a 30 to 36 inch reach-in vanity, and tile floor-to-ceiling in large format. The footprint stays the same, the room reads twice as big.

Glass, lighting, ventilation

We install half-inch frameless glass enclosures with the hinged-door, fixed-panel layout that works for most Miramar baths. Lighting goes layered: overhead, sconces flanking the mirror, switched fan with humidity sensor. The fan is the upgrade you feel every shower.

Timelines and finishes

Western Miramar master-bath remodels typically run 18 to 25 working days. East Miramar guest-bath remodels run 12 to 18. We give you the realistic finish date in the contract. Service Finance and Renew Financial financing is available for qualified homeowners.

Questions

Bathroom in Miramar — FAQ

Still not sure? Call us at (786) 789-2912. We'll give you a straight answer.

Do you remodel bathrooms in both East and Western Miramar?+

Yes. We work across all of Miramar — older East Miramar homes off Pembroke Road, the central neighborhoods, and the Western Miramar communities like Country Club Ranches, Riviera Isles, Vizcaya, Sunset Lakes, Silver Lakes, and Monarch Lakes. The scope differs by housing era; the standard of work is the same.

What does a typical Western Miramar master-bath remodel cost?+

Every home is different so we do not give random numbers — we do a free estimate, walk through what you want, and give you a real fixed price in writing. A Western Miramar master-bath remodel with a tub-to-shower expansion, new double vanity with quartz, and large-format tile sits in one budget zone; we tell you that zone before you commit.

Can you handle the HOA submission for my Vizcaya or Monarch Lakes remodel?+

Yes. Most Western Miramar HOAs do not regulate interior bath finishes, but they do regulate work hours, dumpster placement, and contractor insurance. We submit our certificate of insurance and the project schedule to the management company before we start so nothing pauses mid-job.
